Expert Witness & Litigation Support
Retained by counsel for marital dissolution, probate, partnership disputes, eminent domain, and damages matters — across more than fifty litigation engagements.
What we are typically retained to do
- Affirmative valuation. An independent opinion on the subject asset, built from the outset to survive cross-examination.
- Rebuttal and report review. Written critique of an opposing expert's methodology, data selection, value standard, and internal consistency — drawing on 2,500+ appraisal reviews.
- Deposition and trial testimony. Direct and cross on the report and the reasoning behind it.
- Consulting expert work. Non-testifying analysis so you can assess exposure before committing to a position.

Questions from counsel
What is your availability for a trial date?
Call with the date. Litigation assignments are scheduled around the court's calendar, and we will tell you honestly if a deadline cannot be met rather than take the retainer and hope.
Do you work for both plaintiff and defense?
Yes, and roughly evenly. An expert who only ever appears on one side of the docket is easy to impeach on precisely that point.
Can you review another appraiser's report without preparing your own?
Yes. Review and rebuttal is a distinct assignment and is often the most cost-effective first step in deciding whether a competing appraisal is needed at all.
Can you take a matter outside Arizona?
For personal property, machinery, and business valuation, yes — nationwide and internationally. Real property matters are Arizona only, because real estate appraisal is state-licensed.
